As fall and holiday season is upon us, this is the time when many patients tend to pack on the lbs from Halloween candies to large thanksgiving family meals with holiday parties and booze, desserts and carb loading galore. This is also the time when the times changes and often people are not as active as they were in the summer. It also makes it easier since the weather is cooler and we tend to “cover up” with sweater and layers of clothing hiding our weight gain. It’s frustrating because many people want to lose weight during this time because they want to look great at their holiday work party or at their family gatherings or that Christmas cruise they’re taking! Here are my tips this season to maintain a healthy weight and avoid Holiday weight gain!
